First winter camp of the year
First winter camp of the year
Thanks Carver, you made my lunchtime 100% better.
Mine too! Makes me wish I was outside instead of sitting at my desk at work.
You know you live up north when 9 below isn't bad. Thanks Carver, great video. Hope you're staying dry in our sudden melt.
Once you're lost in twilight's blue, you don't find your way, the way finds you.
Wow, very inspiring! Carver, are you the 85 year old in the video? If so, way to go!
You even mentioned a VB sock test. How did that go?
What kind of hammock was that? Looks like you had some sort of frost bib(or wall or frost blocker) rigged up near your face(at 3:54)? Was that nylon(looks like it) or fleece? Or not a frost bib?
I always enjoying seeing what you've been up to. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing your next adventure.
Question: at 3:09 you show your camp boot setup. What's the brand?

Great job on the video. Nine below isn't bad - I laughed. Where I'm from 9 above is bad and I've not seen temps like that in years. It's great that at 85 you are still able to go and snowshoe and camp. Thank for sharing.
Awesome video and inspiring vitality. I hope I can age so well - both in physical form and in wisdom. I also really enjoyed the brief white pine tutorial. Thank you!

Great video! I learned a bit about the white pine that I had no idea about!
Old guys rule. Hope I can still be out and about hanging in a hammock when I am in my 80's
I am still 18 but with 53 years of experience !
