I would like to see the Crinkle Polyester prototype you have made.
Here in the USA they sell 90-inch by 156-inch Crinkle (or Crease) Tablecloths.

These are factory hemmed on all sides. The fabric is 100% 190T Polyester, so stretch is not so bad, and the addition of a sleeping pad with longitudinal baffles should work well.

I have made two of these with mini-spreader bars at each end instead of gathered end. The mini-spreader bars seem to allow the fabric to lay flatter to decrease ridges inside and allow for shelfs for arms/elbows and feet/knees due to the 90-inch width.

No Calf Ridge due to Spreader Bar and Polyester no sag material - it is taut.jpg
Notice that the extra width of the fabric, in addition to the mini-spreader bars, does not block the inhabitants view. The 'lay' is absolutely flat, at 2/3rds from the foot end of the hammock.

The spreader bars add a bit more complexity, however the advantage is the expediency of only having to add triple stitched channels, and then devising your spreader bars.
I used Easton Aluminum stakes with 1/4-inch titanium rods inserted with a bit of epoxy to prevent rattling.

That looks very comfortable. How did you establish the tie out postilions on each side, trial and error?
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.
Thank for your comment. I have experience of 90 degree hammock. But you have shortcut by Wikihow website https://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Hammock-Chair It's explain how to shape in chair mode by cut diagonal cord ports. But I use 3D calculate so it's complicated than WikiHow.
Looks amazingly comfortable to me!
Thank you for sharing your hammock. About spreader bar, I am not have budget and it's make cost higher. I think to make hammock chair can smallest pack.
This fabric is 70D crinkled ripstop 2 way stretch but stretch no effect of comfortable but I only got this

Great question! I think some would - but I feel this is such a niche item that it probably won't sell a lot. Most backpackers don't want the added bulk & weight. And the ones that don't mind, I feel they would carry a (albeit less comfortable) stool which could be set next to a fire.
That said, I do think it's worth a try! Please keep us updated, and good luck!!! Nice design.
Good comment! It's mean this product not for hammock users. must find out the real target. Thank you!
