Hickory Creek Wilderness Trail sounds like what you're after. I have no personal experience with this particular trail, but I've heard good things. Should provide a reasonable amount of solitude.
If you come out to our hang later this month, I'm sure folks would be happy to share their knowledge of many local trails.

Thanks very much - I will check it out.
This is shaping up to be quite the gathering! Not everyone who's coming (or has expressed an interest in coming) is accounted for on the sign-up sheet, but my rough head count is hovering around 20. That's awesome!
Just a reminder that several of us will be arriving on Thursday, if anyone had any interest in tagging along on the Friday morning paddle trip or just wanted to get a head-start on the weekend.
Julie is the outlier in most groups she tends to find herself in, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Looking forward to hanging with you again, man! We'll have to see what pricy new gear we can convince each other to *invest* in this year.

Hickory Creek is boring. No views, not many water sources. It's also hard to navigate due to there being no new blazes, and the older ones fading away. If there's lots of fallen leaves it might make the trail difficult to follow.
Thanks Marmaduke.
I'll be there Thursday with two others and two or three more will be showing up Friday.

We’re getting close to camping time. I just wanted to make sure that there weren’t any changes of plans for this event. Also, in regard to Hickory Creek Wilderness, I just saw a video on YouTube posted by a guy hiking with his wife and about 4 young children that clearly showed newly painted blazes on the trees. Maybe a couple of us could go check that out the weekend of this hang.
