Accident to be exact. Yes there is a town called Accident well two actually ones in MD and one is in Arkansas. I am from the one in Maryland

I am new to hanging thing, after almost giving up on backpacking because of back problems i get from sleeping on the ground. My buddy set up his hammock on my last trip and told me to try it out for the night and he used my system. While he was stiff my back had never felt better, although it took a while to getting used to to fall asleep. But, hey it got me here, before i had the chance to make my own diy, I got a HH UL asym zip for christmas along with a Maccat deluxe for my birthday, along with two snakeskins. (Luck my Bday is in Janurary). Well here I am and excited for this spring to get on the trail. and hang in the trees

Welcome from Hagerstown. As a fellow hanger with a bad lower back I can say that I haven't had any back issues since I moved off of the ground. There's a spring hang at Pine Grove Furnace at the end of April. Search for MAHHA to get the details.

I grew up in Clear Spring. My father rented a farm house on 52 acres off of McCoy's Ferry Rd. The majority being woods. Lived there until I turned 17.
