Thanks to tablecloths, the DIY barrier to make your own hammock is all but eliminated. For our scout group, we have been making hammocks this month and I thought I'd share the basic way we are putting them together. This is part one: whipping the hammock into shape. In the next installment, I'll show the fitted, zippered bug net and ridge line.
