    Whoopie Slings with RR

I can't find whether using whoopie Slings (without hooks) works for the Ridgerunner. Does it create too much length? Can you hook to the Pentagon shaped buckle or to the amsteel ?

Brandon says you can swap out suspensions....... may have to find some trees a wee bit further apart for Whoopies.
    Carry forth.

I switched mine to Whoopies and it works fine, but as Shug said, might need trees a bit farther apart.
I took out the little pentagon part that the dog bones were attached to and just use a either a soft shackle or the Nano 23 beaners made by CAMP (can get both from Whoopieslings.com) to hook the whoopie sling to both the dog bones. This makes installing the spindrift faster and easier too.

I also swapped the adjustable webbing suspension for whoopies from whoopieslings.com; was super easy to do thanks to that very video Shug posted. I haven't had this bad boy in the field yet, but definitely could see where I'd need to have trees a couple extra feet apart. I'm thinking I may start using the toggle method with my treestraps instead of the dutch clips i'm using now (whoopieslings.com sells their whoopies setup with dutchware as an option).

Tried the whoopies, found that the straps work better for my taste.
    You may like them though.
