As an alternative, I notice that they also have their Cabela's XPG™ Ultralight Wing on sale from $59.99 to 69.99 .

Does anyone have experience with these? How do they compare to the Kelty's? Pros/Cons?
Peter
The Cabela's xpg tarp looks like a better option it is lighter and has a higher rated coating coating.
Cabela's 1500mm
Kelty 450mm
The Cabela's is measured on the diagonal where as the Kelty is measured along the edges.

The Kelty will have more pitching options, as it's a 12 x 12 tarp. It also has more tie out point so it can be set up with doors, etc.
The Cabela's is more like a 9 x 9. So you really can only pitch it as a diamond fly. So as far as weight goes it's really only ~4 oz lighter than the 9x9 Kelty.
That's a good price on the Kelty for sure.
Ordered mine last week from Cabela's also. Should receive Wednesday in time
to try out this coming weekend.
Got mine in today. Looking forward to using it soon.
