Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Welcome from another Central Floridian!(Ocala) As everyone else has said, hope to see you out @ Buck Lake in January. If you have not found a tarp by then and need one, I have a spare you could use. Just out of curiosity, what other forum do you moderate for?
Welcome from Leesburg, Fl... Im sure you'll love it here and learn a lot...
Welcome from out on the Space Coast. If you're into hiking and paddling there's a new Meetup group out of Orlando called "SLACK" Simply Laidback Adventurers Campers and Kayakers. They changed the name recently because the old one was just too darned long to repeat and not very catchy.

So many trees, so little time...
welcome to the madness
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Welcome from SW Florida!
Welcome to HF from Gainesville, FL
Hope to see you around.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
Thanks for the welcome guy's. I probably wont be able to make this years FLH as I am unprepared at this point and don't really have the jack to spend on it here at Christmas time. I am still researching tarps and insulation to figure out what I need for my camping conditions. I have a place in the hills of Va. and spend as much time there hanging as possible too. I am a motorcycle enthusiast (most of you would probably classify me as a biker). My Harley is my primary vehicle that I ride everyday and that is what started my interest in hanging. I can pack my whole sleeping rig on my HD and can disappear for a few days or weeks for a rally or whatever. My wife and kid drive cages so I can haul household items if needed but I hardly ever use them.
theflb, thanks for the offer, I am a moderator over at HDTalking.
Shug, saw all the vid's whilst lurking, thanks for those. Good to see picking is alive and well in Mn. I pick as often as time allows and am currently trying to learn another instrument currently.
Thanks again,
HangFan
