Hello from Central Fla.

Hey y'all,

Just started hangin' and found this place looking for answers to my many questions. I am currently researching tarps and what little insulation I will need (Fla) Looks like y'all have a great group here and keep it civil. I am a moderator on a forum of a different subject and our rules are very similar. Anyway, I hope to continue learning and maybe share some along the way.

Welcome to the forum.

I live in Winter Haven. If you want to borrow a set up for the January get together, I have several and would be happy to loan you one. You'd have to scrounge up a tarpaulin I only have one of those. A 5x8 blue poly tarp from walmart would work.

hey from high point nc and welcome to Hammock Forums.
the kind folks here are among the most knowledgeable in the hammock world.
i'm not one of those knowledgeable people so this site is a good reference library for me.
"ask and ye shall find" really applies here. that's what i do.

It is a handful when you start but can be quite simple as well.
I did a primer set of videos....here is where tarps start.
Lots of terrific tarps on here....look in the Vendors Section.
