I wonder if you could make a tube out of cuben. Taped seams would probably hold air in a similar fashion to the way it keeps water out in a dry bag. Order a valve from thermarest and you might be in business.
Wouldn't these deflate as the temp drops during the night? I know my float tubes and pontoons do. Just a thought...

taping cuben? why not glue it? but excellent idea and the valve woohoo.
and the weight of the cuben would be less than a carbon pole!

Shouldn't be too hard for a DIYer to sew in some velcro loops to the underside of their tarp in which to attach a Nemo bladder.
Can't find the length on the website .. maybe too short for a decent sized tarp?
