Not sure of those rules. The good thing is that what we are speaking about is significantly different than that drawing so there is no infringement.
At least that is what I learned from walking past the Law School while going to college.
MacEntyre and I are working on an aluminum tensegrity stand that will support N hammocks, where N is the number of struts selected. Here is my 3-strut hammock stand.[IMG][/IMG] The struts do not touch each other, and handle only compression forces (no bending). They are held up by the amsteel tendons. The top tendons function as structural ridgelines for the hammock(s).
Twenty years after filing the application. You can start selling your replicas of the Clark Jungle Hammock in 2019.
That's freakin' COOL! But it makes my eyes hurt to look at it. Does the whole thing exist in our space-time or is it partially somewhere else?

That is a cool design for a hammock stand. I dont think there is a need to use amsteel on the ridge line for the stand. Its only function would be to hold the uprights in place until you put tension on them.
Pete.
The opinions expressed by this user are not those of a competent individual. If they were that would mean I know what I am talking about.
That is a pretty cool rig there WV. Have any plans or specs you'd be willing to share?
Rather than hijack this thread, I started a new one here.
