As the title says... Im aware that prolly the strap end of my hammock may need to go through the door. Im just concerned how it might damage my car. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you wanting to use the vehicle as the anchor points for the Solo guylines, or as the support on the other end of the hammock?

Keep car keys in your possession at all times.
Worst case scenario, someone needs to run to the store in your car…dragging your carcass nestled inside zippered bugnet hammock…down road.
Jokes aside
I would not attach to anything on car that could possibly be yanked off, due to normal stresses on hammock suspension.
Maybe through car at backseat. Either close door on strap. Or lower windows a bit to get strap around car and door. Then raise windows almost touching strap.
I can be entirely wrong, each car is different.
Can cause damage to paint and or body.
I would not attach a hammock suspension to my car…ever.
Maybe I’m wrong person to be talking about this subject.
On account of: I don’t know!
If you have roof rails, check the weight rating to see if that can be used as an attachment point. Go thru open windows and loop the roof. Use a pad where strap could damage the paint. You could close the strap in a door. You will need to tie something on the end so it will not slip thru. If you use this method, do it close to a hinge as that will be able to support more weight.
Does your vehicle have a hitch by any chance? I know one person who built a wooden beam situation for his truck's hitch and hangs from it. We even gave him the trail name of "Hitch".

In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
As far as attachment points on a vehicle for the hammock end, the loop that your shoulder belt goes through at the top should be more than sufficient to hold your weight ×? It could just run out an open window or out the top of the door and over the roof to the other side.
If I was anchoring a Solo pole I'd just guy it to the wheels on one side.
