I recently bought a bottom entry Safari XXL. Trying with limited success to make my own bottom insulation system. Might have to give up and buy something. Do any of the new Hennessy systems fit my hammock? Or can they be ‘modified’ to fit?

I have a Jungle Survivor, its sized the same as an "Explorer" (meaning "Explorer"= large vs "Expedition"=smaller) and this works: https://hennessyhammock.com/products...stem-2-classic
But it would also need insulation, depending on how low your temperatures are going to get, the Hennessy reflective pad might be ok. How cold are you thinking?
Incidentally "kicking" the SS and insulation out of the way to get out has never presented a problem for me, but, use of anything other than a TOP QUILT in minus 32 degrees might be difficult. I love Hennessy though.

Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.
Probably never get below -5 C and often be down to 10 C.
