I am continuously baffled by the lack of research performed by those who put hammock stands on the market.
It is not rocket science, and here on Hammock Forums, there lies a dearth of information on what will or will not be successful.
12-foot hammocks
[EDIT] 20-lbs max weight for the stand itself, and a capacity of 600 lbs for two people.
12-foot tarp configuration
No one seems to get it, as the above minimum standards would solve most of the issues that potential customers wish to see incorporated.
Does anyone really care if the stand sets up in 3-seconds, and when that is done you can't get a decent lay or dry sleep?
This seems marketed for college kids on campus.
