Should I ever decide I need a Clark hammock, I'm curious as to which rainfly folks are finding to be most suitable(?)
I ask because the original rainfly sold by Clark appears to be a quite small hex.

Go for the Vertex or find a different brand that has doors. I have a Chill Gorilla Fortress 2 I like as well as my Vertex, depending on the conditions.
Twelve foot tarps work wonderfully well. Plenty of dry space there.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
The Vertex works on the 2-person vertex hammock well enough but excels on the NX-270 and it's single-hammock brethren. It also has the velcro to close it off at the ends but that won't work on the Vertex. It's light weight, stuffs down small, easy to adjust, etc. There are others that are much larger and some are downright huge (Kelty for instance) but like anything else they come with trade-offs.
