Great video! I think it is valuable information even for those of us who may never hike the CDT. Thanks!

Wow, now that looks easy enough
Seriously, having spent a career spanning decades working in the Teton, Absaroka-Beartooth, Scapegoat, Mission, Bob Marshall, and Great Bear I applaud you for such a concise video on plan, practice, and be prepared.

Thanks for sharing the tips. I was wondering if you have suggestions in terms of being comfortable when forced to the ground? Also, while totally not necessary, it would be nice if you had break points at each tip so one could skip around, or click directly into the one they were looking to review.
Comfortable on the ground? If you are hiking with other folks and they have pads in their packs ask them to borrow them to sleep on. Carry a nice air sleeping pad if you know you will definitely go to ground. My favorite is the sea to summit XT. I would try to hike a long day to be tired and maybe even have a night cap if thats your style to help you attempt to sleep. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Always interesting to hear how people make a hammock work on these longer trails.
Hiking my own hike and hanging my own hang. This is where my happy is!
