Prince William Forest Park
The Park is less than an hour south of DC and hour or so north of Richmond and less than 2 hours from Charlottesville.

New Location in the Park
We will be hanging in the Turkey Run Ridge Group Campground. We will be in Group Sites F, G, H, I. Good news is this site is centrally located in the park so it only half the travel time once you are in the park.

The park has a 1.5" strap requirement but double wrapping the tree counts. Trees must be 6" in diameter. Since this our first time in the group sites we request that you bring a stand if you have one, May or may not be needed.
Unfortunately Pets are prohibited in the Group Sites
Covid-19 guidelines
We will be encouraging campers to follow to the current guidelines as posted by Virginia. Currently Masks are required in the Buildings. Please observe Social Distancing and respect each others use of masks as they seem fit.
Costs
There is a $10 fee per car for entering the park. Paid for at the visitor center when you enter the park.
There is a $10 per person fee. Please pay Jimbo to cover the cost of the group sites.
There are several hiking trails through the park and other things to do.

We will resume our group potluck dinner on Saturday evening. See the Sign Up tab
Other notes
In years past the temps have ranged from the 20s to 50s. One year we were in shorts. Welcome to VA weather.
