So, I'm trying a WBRR for camping where my Town's End BBBH is too big/heavy/no integral bug net.
Ordered a 45 degree Hexcam Wasteland Ridge Creek UQ to try out. I was at the lake this past weekend and got by with a "regular" UQ and was second guessing my decision.
Well, it was delivered as I was at the lake, so I slept in the backyard with the Ridge Creek last night. IMO, it's totally worth buying a dedicated bridge UQ. The attachment is stupid easy and it's not pulling on the ends like a non-bridge UQ did.
I was thinking I'd stay with down for my cold weather UQ, but now I'm leaning towards a Ridge Creek XL 15 degree.
