Just got the notice from Amok. Looked at the product. A full pound+ lighter, and about $100 more, and significantly less load capacity. A good value if I didn't already have a Draumr. I consider $100 a pound cheap when backpacking. Most modern gear is many times that price for weight saving.
I've also written a review on my blog: http://fimbuloutdoors.blogspot.com/2...ltralight.html
It's in danish, but there's a translator on the PC version

Sorry I’m new here and don’t know how to do fancy formatting for YouTube links
heh yeah, just watched that. I should have known better, Jonas is pretty good about demonstrating them
it looks good, price is still pretty up there tho
Yeah, that would have been nice.
Aside from materials, going by photos here are a couple things I spotted:
- The way the bugnet zips doesn't require reaching as high (not over the ridgeline).
- Stuff sacks ends up inside the hammock with you for more storage.
- Ridgeline organizer (looks to be integrated into the net).
- Some velcro or some such on the suspension straps for rolling them up to keep things tidy.
- The way the pad sleeve has the valve exposed is different.
- By the bugnet storage pocket, there's a short length of shock cord with a pack hook or something. Not sure what that would be for.
- Drip shields just inward of the strap attachment buckles.
That's all I could spot from the photos on their site.
yeah, it looks like a really nice amalgamation of the good 3.0 features, with the 4.0 features and a couple new twists thrown in
the removable stuff sack is something a lot of folks wanted
the merging of the 3.0 and 4.0 bugnet looks like a good choice too
overall, it looks like a solid progression from the 4.0
