I'm interested.... I'm painting a house next week but should be done by Sunday.
I'll be solo in my kayak.

Chard you are a braver guy than me, I don't like facing the bugs till mid August ... But from that point on I will be trail bound.

I'd love to join you but they still aren't letting the crazy Mericans in.
I'm keeping myself busy on this side of the border though. Just got back from Lake Lila in the ADK. Last week I went to Minister Creek ANF and this weekend going to the Finger Lakes.
Enjoy the paddle! Have some Diiirt for me.

I don't mind missing camping in July but really hoping to get out in late August or the fall since all my spring date were canned.
sidenote : booked our hammock site in Valens for a first camping trip with my niece and nephew in Aug. Will be bringing extra junk hammock hopefully they can try napping in lol. Never been there in busy season. Will be thinking of you all and our awesome get togethers. Hope you all are well.
I'm in.
Just FYI, aside from a few mozzies for the hour after sunset, bugs were almost non-existent at the Yurt this weekend. The only bites we got were Bass!
Hiya,
I'd definitely like to get one of the sites on the island with a preference for the northern of the two facing west.
As to when, I was hoping to get there fairly early to try and take some pictures and troll up the southern shore to scout the island. I expect those sites to be occupied but being Sunday, someone will head out eventually. I might have a better idea of exactly what time I'll at the access point later this week.

Im in. Sun to wed.
I just spent 3 nights north of Shiningtree , theres no way the bugs at Ralph Bice could be worse than that.
Should be a walk in the park.
No signs,no fees,no rules, nobody. My kind of campsite.
The bugs weren't bad at all in the Adirondaks this weekend so there is hope for lite bug activity. If you experience too many bugs just kindly explain that you are social distancing.
To all my friends North of the border: Happy Canada Day!!!!!
