I'm pretty biased, but it's honestly my favorite tarp we make! Just wanted to say thanks so much for your order with us We're always eager to hear what other folks think.
Well hammock gear products haven't failed me yet
I got my journey in the mail. Received sooner than expected. I got it completely dialed in and ready for my trip of the lake shore trail in August.

Just returned from RockADock in Geneva AL where i used my new Journey. It worked perfectly!

Maybe I got a fluke, but I've been disappointed with my Journey II. I've made a couple of attempts to leave a review on the website that I'm guessing never get approved because they're not 4 or 5 stars (looking at other products on the website, I see nothing but 4 and 5-star reviews, and sorry, but I think that's a bit suspicious). Anyway, my first outing with my Journey II, I understand it's the Chinese version, but the description left me feeling I should still be able to trust it, was a 3-day trek into rainy cold weather. Have no fear! I have a brand new tarp with doors! Except after raining for several hours, anytime the wind so much as sneezed at me, I'd receive a shower inside my hammock. It seemed the panels were fully saturated and I'd get a nice cold mist from inside the tarp. Not something I prefer when it's 40° and dropping and I'm sleeping with down insulation. It's sat in the gear closet ever since because I just can't trust it to keep me dry. I'm looking for a new Hex tarp and love the price on the Quest, but can't in good faith order another tarp from HG. I have been nothing but happy with my 20° HG Top Quilt though.

I just got an email from the folks at HG after submitting my latest review and it appears I was either missed or an auto spam filter prevented me from getting their email they sent out about this known issue. They are taking care of me and it is much appreciated. A+ customer service eventually
