I honestly have no idea where to post this, so I thought I'd put it here in general hammock talk. Hope that works...
There's a lot of background to this question, but I'll just get to it: Has anyone here used a hammock aboard a sailboat? I may be heading out for a while on a 39' sloop and thought that my WBRR could serve well above deck at anchor, perhaps run from the mast to the forestay or to a Tensa Solo pole.
I'd love to read about any experiences with hammocks aboard, or even good speculation. Seems like a reasonable way to stay out in the fresh air and give the others aboard - and me - some much needed privacy.
What do y'all think?
PS: (Edit after reading some older threads): I'm certain a hammock will work aboard, I'm really wondering about a bridge hammock in particular.
