Today Dutch released a new Bridge Hammock. I have had the opportunity to test a prototype for the past few months and have had some input to the changes that went into the final production model.
Check out my video of it!

Can you sit upright with the bugnet in place?
Nice review. Thanks for the details. Sweet bridge.
“The word hammockable (Meaning: two trees that are the perfect distance apart between which a hammock can be hung) is not in the dictionary, but it should be.”
Inevitably, the comparisons to a ridgerunner will come in. I'll start
-What is the distance between trees? Is it as long as a Ridgerunner?
-What I didn't like about my ridgerunner, other than above, is how narrow and stiff the sides are. For a side sleeper, it can be painful when there isn't anywhere for ones knees other than the stiff sides. This looks to be the same?
-No mention of a pad? For me, a ridgerunner feels like you're sleeping in a ditch with an UQ. Bummer its single layer. Have you tried it with a pad?
Thanks!
I have slept in it on my side and stomach. One of the viewers on Youtube asked some questions comparing my review of the Ridgerunner where I talked about nowhere for my knees on the side sleeping. I find myself sleeping on my back 99% of the time, and don't recall making any mental notes of issues while on my side, but I will hang it up and do some more experimenting so I can answer those questions a little better. So for now the side sleeping thing I'm going to say, I will get back to you.
I will measure the distance between trees, or total distance between ends of suspension. This video was filmed using two trees I use for my gathered end hammocks quite often, so no wider.
I have used a pad in it, but the pad I have is an Exped Downmat Winter UL LW, and it is thick, like 3.5 inches thick. The pad gives a much flatter lay, making side and stomach sleeping even easier. However, it comes with a big drawback, because you're so much higher, it creates some instability in the hammock.
Hope this helps some...
I couldn’t find your video on YouTube to make comment there - will this work the a GE UQ? The UQ you used in the video looked pretty wide compared to my HG UQ’s. Looking forward to your measurement because the one downside for me about the RR is it’s tree-to-tree distance requirement that also influences tarp length.
Also, given how wide your bridge is, what tarps do you recommend?
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

I'm interested as well to see if it will work on the Tensa4 stand. The RR looked too long to work without bannanaing (is that a word the hammock

Great review, looks like a great hammock indeed! What does it weigh without the net or any accessories? The JRB James River weighs 18 oz with spreader bars, for comparison, which is the lightest bridge I have tested. Also, it(JRB) needs I think about 11.5 ft between trees, interested to see what this one requires.

Looks like another hammock I need to buy been looking for a bridge hammock
Its a good day to be out in the woods no matter the weather.Mist One..
Could you explain further why the increased tree to tree distance affects tarp length?
My own experience is that a RR can get by with a shorter tarp, because the overall hammock fabric length is less than a ge. (Amsteel still sticks out but it doesn't matter if that gets wet)
