I have been playing with this for a couple months, I have read everything I can find, and watch some videos, but no matter what I do, my suspension rubs the tarp, or completely pulls my tarp stakes out of the ground.
I have a 12’ hanger from UGQ With a Dutch continuous tarp Ridgeline, and a 11’ dream hammock.
I know I can just hang the tarp way above the hammock, but then it if it rains I I just get wet.
I know it’s possible to use in the rain, but without having my hammock suspension at 90 degree and putting the tarp right over it, I am not having any luck.
Can someone walk me through your process, or maybe direct me to something you found helpful?
Is there an exact tree distance I need to find to make this work?
The other issue is I cannot keep the tarp taught. It will start to sag when I stake it down, and if I try to use the pullouts, it makes matters even worse.
