My friend could really use a two person topquilt, so I vote for that.
I voted for Synthetic Quilts and Dog Quilts. In the warmer months I cant use down since I'm always on or around water.

None of the choices listed are as appealing to me as down socks would be. As a cold sleeper, I need something to boost the warmth of my feet inside my footbox.

A lightweight (16 oz. or less) synthetic 50 degree blanket. No frills just a water resistant durable blanket for warm weather. Lots of cheap options out there but most over 16 oz. and not quality

A 50deg EE enigma apex reg/reg with 7d shell is 10oz. Even with a 20D outer and 10D inner it's 12.75oz.
I have an older EE 40deg Rev Apex (from back when they called it Prodigy) with 10D shell (inner and outer) and it weighs 17.7oz.
IME 10D is plenty durable. I have some 10D quilts that have seen lots of use with no issues.

Thanks for the idea but I was thinking just a blanket. No snaps, strings, or foot boxes. Just a nice baffled blanket with synthetic. Feel this would make it durable, lightweight, inexpensive and if I wanted, hackable. I look at how popular the costco down blanket was but I can't find a quality synthetic one that is of decent size and under 16oz.
