Very pretty! Now you’ll have a happy wife, and you won’t be cold, either.
Very pretty! Now you’ll have a happy wife, and you won’t be cold, either.
The wife and I both got to test our zero degree quilts this past weekend on our wilderness hike. It got down to 29°F at the coldest part of out trip and we had no issues. I measured mine at 1:30 am with an outside temp of 34°F and an inside temp of 84°F while tucked away under my SLD Winter Haven hiding from the slight breeze outside. I was wearing thermal long johns, wool socks, a fleece neck gator, and a cotton style knit cap. A definite success at these temps. Hopefully we will be able to test them at lower temps in January. Thanks George !
My pleasure!

Say OP what’s the skinny’s on the Tarp rods?
I second that... the tarp looks really cool! Are those rods packable?
I just did that to my tarp. The "rods" /tent poles I used are segmented into 26" pieces, but I have another version that is 13". I got them from https://www.questoutfitters.com/
There are the .344.
I apologize for the delayed reply. This is a UGQ Hangar 12 tarp with internal pole mods (two poles). I ordered the tarp that way after buying a used one from a fellow member on here. Many of my tarps have poles. I prefer my three pole mod on my SLD Winter Haven.
