    Types of hammocks

Am thinking of getting a new hammock soon. And was wondering what the difference is between a symmetrical and an asymmetrical hammock. Am looking at the chameleon due to the options and reviews not to mention all the YouTube how to vids. Thanks for helping the noob.

Asym...head either way or either end.
Symmetrical....designed for either head right or head left.

I noticed you using the Raven lately. Is that one of your favorites? Are you a flip flopper? I don’t remember you ever saying so. Which is why I ask now, why do you like the Raven? I certainly am a flipper, which is why I have a Raven on order coming my way in a couple weeks.

    I switch hammocks a lot.
    Felt like sleeping in orange.
Mainly dealing with bugnets and having bugnets pulled out of the way. Seeing which netted hammock I like the best for that.
So far my Warbonnets are in first place as they tie back easily and make a wonderful backrest sitting sideways in the hammock.

That’s true. The Raven does have that unique advantage of being able to stow the net up top, but still at the ready. It’s curious, but it seems like most Ravens I see are orange. Of course, mine will be too!
