I have never planned any thing like this so I would like to find out if there is an intrest.

I am thinking the Laurel Lake area. Or an area off of the Sheltowee trace just outside of London. (Short hike possible with the second)

I am trying to find out first if anyone would be interested in coming and possible dates that could be convenient!

So anyway. Just throw some ideas out here for me and let me know if you all might be interested in coming to the area!

Kinda bummed, didn't realize you were so far north. For some reason I thought you were in Tennessee, parts of which aren't that far from Atlanta - sigh... Tried setting up both hammocks with a spreader bar yet? If you do set up a local hang, some people might find that interesting. Good luck getting a group hang going up there!

June would be pretty great! I could maybe pull off the middle of the month if I can get a location fast enough

Whats with all the blue paint ? Are those trees marked to be cut down ?

Here in Ky they do that when they mark them for removal due to beetle infestations. Idk about that pic tho

As I had said before in the other thread, I am interested in a hang in the London area. If its on the Sheltowee Trace, we would need to have overnight passes to park at the trail head? I will keep an eye on this one, let us know what you come up with.

Marked for removal on Natl Forest property. Our section had creepy blue. Other sections were different colors.
