I caved in. Just bought both. No pullouts on the thunderfly for simplicity. Have too many tarps!!

I’m in the woods right now and I’m in porch mode. I can’t upload the pics until tomorrow. I have the beaks on as well. What I like about the Minifly is it fits nicely in my side pocket and it’s a hex tarp with training wheels.

I would also like to know the length from the ridge line tie-out to beak tie-out. I'm getting back into making gear after a long absence and I'm determined to make my own version of the Minify. If somebody could measure it (and any other dimensions would be awesome too) I'd be really grateful.
Edit: Just found Kitsapcowboy's Badlander tarp and attendant dimensions. That's plenty for me to base my own (scaled down) design off of.

Corvis natum est.
I've been going to the warbonnet site 20 times a day to check for a restock since I tore my Thunderfly. It's been a while but they're in stock now.
I'm not too torn about losing the previous tarp because I wanted to try the Dark Foliage Green anyway. And I NEVER used the side pullouts, so the new one without will be a bit nicer aesthetically.
Good timing for an upcoming 6-day river trip!
If I have a MiniFly and a ThunderFly. Does that mean I have to get a MountainFly to complete the family? The MountainFly doesn’t seem to get much love. Like getting it would be and act of kindness. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
