Being new to hammocking and haven't graduated up to underquilts yet but do the following 2 statements from this thread belong together?

Yup, I'm planning on making a synthetic UQ with mine. I was going to use the rest to make a sock. But, I'm thinking I'm going to jump on the wagon and use the rest to make a minimal summer tarp now. That being said...
