You're killing me! I got an XLC during your last sale. Are you trying to MAKE me get a Ridgerunner? I wasn't built with the will power to resist. I only ask that you come up with a good explanation for my wife. She's a math teacher so I'm pretty sure she has figured out the difference between the number of hammocks I own and the number of people in the house!

Tell her you have to at least have one of each per person. Shell understand that math

Same boat here! Just bought an XLC on the last sale. Now I just pulled the trigger on the Ridgerunner
Good thing my wife isn’t a math teacher otherwise I would be in trouble myself

I'm taking this opportunity to try the Mimifly. It really looks like the mini high doors will provide lots of coverage for the small amount of material, provide some privacy too.

There's an AT thru hiker (who just posted about the WBBB) who used the Edge tarp and stayed dry the entire time. Intriguing! I'll post a link if I can readily find it.

I'm contemplating another tarp just for a spare, but don't REALLY need one I guess. My son in law and I are planning a trip to the BWCA this coming summer and I currently have two tarps. He's borrowing my spare hammock and will use one tarp for that, and I'll use the other over my hammock. But would like another for sitting under and stashing our gear should we get a rainy day or two or five. At least that's what I tell my wife so I have an excuse to buy another tarp.

Would like to try the Thunderfly but it's not on sale, so might grab a Mambajamba or the Minifly.

I have an Edge and really like it a lot. It’s never fallen short, even through numerous thunderstorms...but I still always get nervous about the end coverage if I’m anticipating rain. Got the minifly last October and never worry about the ends now! You’ll love the Minifly!!
