Ok so I'm definitely coming, and if we're car camping, I ain't eating no dehydrated food. I vote we all just grab something for a meal, we all cook it up, and we all eat it.
I'll bring my cast iron pan and grate to cook on. Guess I'll pick up some eggs and pork roll for sun breakfast.

Here's some thoughts:

I had already put on the spreadsheet that we would could bring a concoction we refer to as taco meat. We took a large pot of it to MAHHA and it all disappeared, so I guess it was acceptable. It goes great on scrambled eggs, omelets, or of course taco shells. It's mildly spiced (to me). At MAHHA, we decided it would be better to prep it at home by tossing scrambled eggs into the pot and simply reheating on site. This works for breakfast or dinner.

Also, we have freezers (yes plural) full of grass fed ground beef. However, there is so little fat in it that it doesn't make great hamburgers because it tends to fall apart.

We took 2 trays of apple crisp to MAHHA which mostly disappeared as well.

Whatever y'all decide is ok with us. We won't go hungry.

Trout Fishing update, for any trying for some stockies:

Big Flat Brook being stocked tomorrow. There should be some left for next week.

The stocking area has changed due to low flow/water levels.

Big Flatbrook (upstream of Rt. 206): Flows in this section of the Big Flatbrook are too low for trout stocking. The fish allocated in this section will be distributed downstream of Rt. 206 throughout the rest of the trout stocking locations.

This means making a very short drive (down to Rt206) to reach the preferred area and it is Catch and Release only until you get about 5 miles downstream.

Fallkniven and Krust hit the target every time. I've seen it! Only rarely does a knife fail to stick, and then bounce back, or go out and to the side.
