Just as a proof of concept/proving to myself that it could be done, I took 1.2mm dyneema "tech line" and eye spliced it onto some aluminum stakes I had and then put on the Dutch hookworms and then eyespliced the other end. With some shock cord continuous loops attached to my tarp tieouts- this should make staking out my tarp a cinch!

On the technical side, I don't have a scale that will go down that far, but let's just say that these are extremely light (lighter than Zing It or Lash It). It still has a breaking strength of something like 285 lbs! It's a little tricky and takes a little bit of work to backsplice it, but I'm very pleased with the results!
