*** Please note that we have had to change the site to the Isabell creek camp site on the west side of the Arbuckle tract ***
'Tis the season for schlepping your gear out into the woods and enjoying some time by Livingston Creek on the Lake Wales Ridge State forest. Traditionally we have mountain man breakfast on Sat/Sun mornings and cobbler Fri/Sat night. We have also started community dinners for some but please remember that if you want to enjoy the company but do your own food for just yourself... that is fine too. The planning is pretty loose... if you want something then make it happen.
The old planning threads should have all of the information covered for getting to the site and what to expect.
The 2nd Annual Sherpa Hang
The 3rd Annual Sherpa Hang
We are going to have to do it at the Isabell creek primitive camp site on the west side of the Arbuckle tract. It is farther to get in so you probably won't want to go FULL sherpa for this one and not multiple trips (or at least not more than one extra). Parking at Lake Godwin will be a bit of an issue so if you will be showing up at the same time as others maybe you could park at our meeting spot for the normal sherpa hang creek side camp site and then carpool to Lake Godwin.
We are planning food for the meals so please don't sign up if you might not make it. If you aren't sure then just sign up at the last minute when you are sure. I'll make the second post in a minute and it will be the sign up post. Please list each person in your group separately along with what you/they will be bringing or making (please remember that you don't HAVE to bring anything or make something if you want to just do your own thing for meals).
If you have questions just ask...
