Hello everyone been a while. I plan on coming out Saturday. I'm not sure if Im going to camp overnight depends on how I feel. Ive been dealing with thyroid cancer the past year and it's got me all out of whack, but I'm really looking forward to it least coming out on Saturday and making new friends.

I am a thyroid cancer survivor. Had a complete thyroid removal and radioactive iodine ablation. Took a little while to get my levothyroxine levels right, but I am doing awesome. I hope to meet you on Saturday. Real name is Lee and trail name is Flea.

Listening to today's podcast and the estimate is 450 people, wow! Just curious but what is the upper limit that the current venue can handle, when does it, if ever, reach a point where it is too big and limits have to be set?

I think it will be awhile before that happens, due to the size of the primitive area that they have. Plus the use of stands can help add to that number. They do other festivals there with around 2000 people. People may have to set up further and further from the main area as we grow but the capacity is there,

BTW we are already over 450 registered...

I believe the venue can hold 3-4000 with additional paddocks going up the hill. They use tents there on the lower half that's flatter. With the use of hammock stands we too could hold hundreds more.

Holy buckets… that’s a lot of people! I know the advice was to get there Thursday to find a spot close to the action, but with that many people it may be more my thing to find a spot far enough from the action (if I need to hide out ).
