What is it with this trend toward hot tents? And hammock hot tents? I just don't see the use case for it myself (as a backpacker, not car camper).

I'll keep this in mind the next time I have a spare $675.

    Oh, the weight is there:

Tsunami tarp: 3 lbs, 3 oz

Pole kit: 3 lbs 6 oz

    Total weight: 6 lbs, 9oz

I don't see a weight listed for the windskirt, but it's probably about a pound.

Yeah, with the wind skirt the total cost is $775, and then a stove is gonna cost $250 or more. So expect to spend upwards of $1025 for a full setup.

    Clearly not for backpacking.

But there are many, many people who car camp, so time will tell if there's a market for it.
