    ViDEO: Solitude on Snowbank....BWCA

Yessir...got out for a two night 16 mile walk in the BWCA on the Snowbank Trail.
Been meaning to get the Haven Hammock Tent out on the trail and see what it was all about. Slept 12 hours first night. Right good.
I enjoyed something new with the Haven. Won't be my go-to rig but fun for a change up. Like that it is something very different than just another same old same old gathered end hammock.
    Rain, chill, sun and humidity.
It was Peace and solitude. Much needed.
Of course a stop at Gordy's High Hat for delectable burgers, fries and a shake on the way home

Definitely enjoyed this video Shug. Somehow loved seeing that beaveresque creature more than I should. Missed seeing your long formats. Thanks.

Fun video, as always! Nothing better than putting on dry clothes on a wet day. Beautiful hiking up there

Thanks for the video Shug... looks like a really pretty area to hike. Would be nice to get up there one day. I like it when you can get out & encounter only a few people or better yet, no one else on the trail. I like that kind of solitude!

I agree with your comments about people & trash on the trial. On my last outing, I experienced the same thing... I couldn't believe the amount of trash, discarded clothing & even a sleeping bag left on the trail. It's almost incomprehensible how people can be of that frame of mind. A big time pet peeve of mine & very aggravating.

Awesome, love that trail. Glad to see it wasn't overflowing. Bears? eh no problem. Wolf Spider? I need my mom. lol I really hope that isn't your new spirit animal.

Some think they are too long...some think they could be longer. But I do like editing trip reports the most. They just lay out. Arigato.

That being dry after cold rain felt amazing.

It is my favorite place in Minnesota to hike. Most don't even know there are walking trails there.
Those litter folks are the entitled. Or just uneducated. More than likely have very clean car interiors cause they toss all their trash out the window.

I got some today on amazon but last time I checked they were out. Heard they were discontinued but maybe a divine intervention occurred.

Enjoyed showing it. And getting to know it in the woods rather than backyard.
