    I think upgrading products is great .... just curious how the math works in this case.

    Assuming the shell, baffles etc are the same and you change from 900 to 950 ... that amounts to ~5% difference in the volume of the down ... so how did you get to 10% for the quilt? It would seem that with a 5% down volume reduction the overall change in volume would likely be in the range of 2 - 4% for the quilt.

    Hey Brian, if you take a look at our fill weights for 900fp and 950fp there is approximately a 10% difference between the two. This means that there will be approximately a 10% difference in volume as well. I've linked our product fill weights below for your reference.

    Just ordered and received the economy phoenix last week �� this company makes great quilts! this is my third quilt now even though I won’t be able to use it until spring. Good thing my wife doesn’t know I got another one hahaha ��

    My 900FP premium 20 degree Incubator arrived today. blissful. It’s 55 degrees out, my back and feet are exceptionally warm with no top insulation. Unfortunately, I now need a phoenix to match! excellent work, Hammock Gear.
