Will DEET damage AHE quilts? How about the hammocks? Nylon seems to be immune to damage but there is still the question of damage to DWR.
Thanks
Bob

Universally deet is not good for synthetic fabrics of any kind. Different fabrics will react in different ways but pretty much all deet products have a warning not to spray them on fabrics. This varies across the board with quilts of any brand, clothing, tarps, tents packs... and on. Google deet on fabric.

DEET will damage the fabric. Use Permethrin instead.
Cut & paste: Permethrin will not damage clothes or equipment. Unlike DEET, which may harm some fabrics and materials, Permethrin is compatible for use even on fragile fabrics such as silk, plus all synthetics and waterproof membrane fabrics. Permethrin will not affect plastics or finishes.
If you do some searching on the forum, you will find many posts on using Permethrin.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
DEET is a plasticizer, so typically doesn’t mix well with synthetics
