    Warbonnet Spindrift sock question

I recently purchased the excellent Ridge Runner bridge hammock. I got the newer version and went with the continuous loops without any suspension, buckles etc. The continuous loops are essentially a single piece of dyneema, woven together in such a way that appears, it can't be unwoven or taken apart.

In looking at the Spindrift sock, it seems that in order to use the ridge runner with it, I would have to somehow do just that, in order to get the dyneema through the holes of the sock, whether it be the new or the older version.

I watched the video they have about setting it up, but my suspension works differently. Am I missing something or will the sock just not work with the continuous loop version of the hammock?

I did send an email to Warbonnet, but have not yet heard back.

I got it figured out. Will leave the thread and pics in case anyone else has the same questions.
Thanks to Alex from Warbonnet who got back to me with another video that made the light bulb come on.

There are actually three pieces of Dyneema there, a small loop and the 'two dogbones' from the sides. What I had thought to be a knot in a single piece of line, was actually where they married up.

Can you provide the URL (link address) to that other video? Or is it just on the WB website?
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

I went through the same thought process about a year ago — for me the really tricky part was separating the knot between the dogbones and the continuous loop once I’d slept in the hammock and they’d set fully. Enjoy your new sock— mine goes on once, for the season , because it’s a bit of a production.

Exactly, ha ha. After you've put weight on it, it seems like it isn't intended to come apart.
