    More comfortable and more comfortable

I just ordered a 1.6 argon hammock from dutch to upgrade from my eno singleness. I just put a UCR riddling on it a few weeks ago and was amazed at how comfortable it made it. I was at REI today and bought a one link double nest on sale to get my son started since my daughter wanted my single nest for napping at college. The double nest is much more comfortable than the single nest. If the Dutch hammock is more comfortable than both of those, my wife may never get me to sleep inside again. It's amazing that something that costs less than 100.00 can be so much more comfortable than a mattress that costs over ten times as much.

I had never used a ridgeline before. It allows me to keep the sag in my hammock. Before the hammock was to tight and uncomfortable.

Seangie, i too just recently bought a Dutchware Hexon 1.6 with knotty mod & ridgeline. Most comfy hammock iv'e ever slept in thus far. I came off a eno double, eno singe & grand trunk double. I have since sold those. I am very new to the cottage industry vendors , but i am quickly realizing their gear is on par if not better than the big name companies. Looks like its time to update your hammock in your profile

I think the cottage industry folks are much better than any big name company. Usually they came up with a superior design through trial and error matched with personal experimentation that resulted in something that really works in the field as opposed to something thats mass produced with cost savings as the main driver.

I haven't tried Dutch's hammocks yet but have to imagine they're great. For now my hammock of choice is a dream hammock.

I too have a hammock made by Dutch and I think it is a lot more comfortable than my sons double nest. He thinks so too because he is always trying to trade hammocks with me. Good luck.

I sleep inside almost every night, but my bed has been moved out of my bedroom.
My bed was more comfortable than my camping inflatable mat, but my $20 Yukon hammock was more comfortable than the bed.
Once I was sleeping every night in a hammock I decided it was worth spending proper money on a top quality hammock, so I got my WBBB XLC - now that is a good hammock!
At this stage I can't see myself going back to sleeping in a bed.
It all started when I did a backyard test of my camping setup, after 2 nights in a hammock in the backyard it was a step down to return to my bed.

The hammock in my room is very carefully positioned to make it easy to look at my computer screen while lounging, the most comfy way to watch a TV program that I have ever experienced!

A bed might be OK for 'other' activities, but it is 2nd rate for sleeping in!

I have a Dutchware PolyD 1.4 and love it. It has almost made me give up use of my double layer hammock with built-in bugnet.

Not sure what length Dutch hammocks you go but almost any DIY or commercial hammock made 10-11' long is going to be MUCH more comfortable than any of the Eno hammocks. My daughter has a doublenest and I would never spend a night in that small thing. You're going to LOVE your new hammock in comparison.
