I've been to the north and the south lean-to and never had a problem with finding water. I think the north is nicer in my opinion. Also have never had a problem with no tree's in the campground but there are some campsites that are lacking.

So I went back out to Laurel Mill today... a lot differ than the warm weather we had last weekend. -12 wind chill.
Beautiful, i got a pad and longer walmart tarp today, cant wait to get back out

Yeah, I would've skipped the trip if it was scheduled for this weekend. Good for you for getting out there, and great pics!
What did you have on your feet? Boots, snowshoes, etc...
