    Nice hang in the BWCAW

Always nice when you can pitch your hammock right next to the water! Video of this 8-day trip in the works, but thought I'd post this photo of our last night's campsite/hang. My AHE Shangri La tarp did a great job of keeping me dry during the all-day downpour we experienced.

That’s a beautiful spot! It was tent camping in the BWCA that sent me to the trees. Wish I had chance to get back up there.

That would be a long drive for you, but people do it!

Mostly on Knife Lake. We put in on Moose Lake at La Tourelle's. I'll have maps in my video.

Ah very nice route. Did you page homage at the Isle of Pines? I was fortunate enough to meet her a couple years before she passed. Something I won't ever forget.

We paddled right past it, but didn't stop because we didn't have the Molter location on a map or GPS. It's a big island. If you had some of her homemade rootbeer you are a lucky guy!
