Thanks everyone. Glad you enjoyed reading it.
I just noticed that I didn't post this in the Trip Report forum. If the mods see this and could please move it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Great pics. Makes me miss going Up North and fishing. Haven't made it there since we moved to NC over 7 years ago.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your good deed with that old lady!! There is definitely something wrong with that picture. I always feel bad seeing old people still having to work to make ends meet and oftentimes doing crappy little things like passing out bites at the grocery store and such. Shouldn't have to be like that...
On a lighter note I'm glad you enjoyed your time up there and finally got the chance to go. It's a special place for sure.
I understand a lot of older people work to stay busy and they enjoy seeing people. But I just got the feeling the waitress wasn't working for those reasons, but rather because she had to. Either way, I'm glad I could make her day but after hearing her story I wish I had left four times as much.

Great detailed report! Except.... what kind of pie did you eat?
Seriously, what kind of pie?

Awesome report, buddy! Reading about that tip for Judy was pretty amazing...felt like I was right there. Glad to see your following a trip report tradition of being long-winded, picture heavy and with lots of detail. Young Jedi has learned well.
