Plenty of hand sanitizer, hand soap and paper towels will be available.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Good news for me! I have my pack total weight 14.5 lbs. Does not include food and water. If I pack as usual I will have a few pounds of food to carry back out. Oh well, I try.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Old4hats, this is wonderful, I’ve been hoping someone would trek with me...someone with a half empty pack!
If you would be so kind and throw some of my odds and ends, whatnot really into your pack. Now I won’t have to leave my cast iron fry pan, dutch oven and real Adirondack wood chair in my car. Since I’m handicapped, you will be doing a good deed...

My pack weight is usually around 30 pounds plus the weight of a chair that I carry on first trip to site.

Hopefully arrive at parking lot around 11am Thursday, then another 25 minutes to the campsite.

I am definitely interested in seeing what new gear we have accumulated since last year.

Dennis, you need to slow down. You are making the rest of us feel like old folks!!!

New gear -- Clark NX 270. Too heavy for backpacking but good for a short hike to the grove.
