Semi-new guy from MD

Hello hangers!

I had an account under "quinsdad" (which I never did an intro for) as well, but couldn't get my screen name changed so I made this one to use permanently. I only had 14 posts under the other one.

Anyway, I lurked long before I joined the first time, and lurked more after joining before posting. I'm pretty sure I'm totally hooked on hanging now (I have three full camping setups, and am itching to start DIY).

I have always loved the outdoors, and was in the boy scouts from age 10-17. I have been camping my entire life, but only recently discovered hammock camping. It totally changed everything for me. I sleep WAY better outside in a hammock than I do in my bed at home.

Anyway, I've learned quite a bit reading through this site, and I really enjoy the helpfulness of everyone here.

Thanks for all the info shared every day, and I hope that I can contribute to it at some point!

Awesome. You should come up to the Fall MAHHA. Plenty of DIYers there to see their stuff and talk gear. (I'm only a moder. I take other people's stuff and then mod it. I'm not great with a sewing machine. )

For anyone else wondering, you need to ask an Administrator to make name changes.

I sent a note to them to see if they can merge your two accounts, which would bring your post count and donating membership status over to your new account.
