8am Friday morning - parking at AWO in East Hickory and getting dropped off in Tidioute.

ETA - I just made a reservation for myself as I wasn't sure who else was going at the time. Make sure to call.

Funny, I was considering the motorcycle too, but didn't realize bringing a kayak was an option.
    Where would the kayaking happen?

I wouldn't recommend kayaking on Minister Creek/ Tionesta Creek but we are setting up a day trip where we get shuttled on the Allegheny River on Friday. I'm hoping to do the river run.

Interesting. What time would that be, put in in the morning?

That would be helpful info, because then I have to request both Thursday (travel) and Friday (kayaking!) off.

I just saw that the names on the sign up sheet are all B's, C's and D's. ...And Julie.

    Thanks.

That's what I get for doing a post-and-run, and not reading the thread.

I do too, it depends on my vacation request getting approved.

Do I need to make the reservation if I bring my own kayak and only need a ride back to the put-in at the end of the trip? It looks like the reservation page is for getting a boat.

I have my own boat too. I put a note in the reservation that it was for transport only.

This fall I'd like to do a 2-3 day 10-20 mile out & back or loop backpacking trip in the Allegheny National Forest. I would like a route with as much solitude as possible and would apreciate your suggestions. Thanks.
