For the record, it looks pretty sharp (the fabric) and I'm probably gonna order some for my new tarp I'm planning. Really, the deciding factor is if it's poly or not. I decided a few months ago that my next tarp was gonna be poly instead of nylon.

I am in the same boat... It's time to replace my membrane-sil tarp (torn on a snag after a year and a half of almost constant use). I like the membrane material, but kinda want a ripstop fabric for this tarp. If I could confirm the rumor that this xenon is a poly fabric I would put an order in. But, after about an hour of searching...I found lots of people asking, but I've yet to find a solid answer. So, Dutch, is xenon poly or nylon? Thanks for doing what you do
It is ripstop polyester.
