Is there going to be some way to match your pantone colors to the Gutermann mara thread shade chart numbers? I'm not aware that the Gutermann chart is anything but abitrary on their part (i.e. not pantone).

We're going to come up with a master reference chart that gives you the best Omnicolor Pantone match for all our existing fabrics/colors. So for example, if you wanted 1.6 HyperD Moroccan Blue printed on 1.7 oz Pocket Mesh, you'd know exactly which Pantone to select to have the two fabrics match.
We can do something similar for the thread.
Great, thanks for that.
So just to confirm, there is no Omnicolor support for HD 1.6 or Robic 1.7 yet, right?
Correct for the moment. However, we're in the middle of starting a second print production line that's going to bring increased capacity and more capability. That should be ready to green light within the next week or so. Once that's online, we'll reevaluate.
The problem with nylon compared to polyester is that the color is much more sensitive to temperature and environmental factors such as humidity. That and you're always going to get slightly brighter, more vibrant results with polyester as that's what the process of sublimation is designed to work with.

Trying to understand this,, are you stocking 1341 different colors of fabrics??
It's print on-demand. So I assume it is printed per order, similar to OutdoorInk.
