This will get you hanging in a hurry. Just add a tarp and use the included ridgeline and away you go.
Hammock: WBBB 1.7 Double Layer, Olive Green ($175 retail)
Suspension: Bought from Dutch. Consist of his whoopies with built in titanium dutch whoopie hooks and camo hugger straps. ($37 retail)
Dutch continuous ridgeline for a tarp (tarp not included) - From Whoopieslings.com ($34 retail) and consists of red lash-it with two lash-it softshackles prussiked to the ridegline (attach these to your tarp), one titanium dutch hook and one titanium dutch tarp flyz. Finished length of 30 feet (according to website. I never measured).
The whoopie hooks let you unhook the suspension easily and use on a different hammock. The hook functions as a water break. You don't need a carabiner or dutch clip with this setup because you can loop the suspension through the strap and then hook to the hammock. Also lets you carry the suspension in a separate bag if they get dirty/wet/sappy.
The tarp ridgeline, once attached to your tarp, allows you to string up the ridegline and secure it tight and then slide the tarp along the ridgeline, via the prrussik softshackles, to center your tarp over the hammock and then pull tight.
Selling this setup only because I have too much gear and duplicates of much of it. All gear is lightly used (as it was backup gear) and from a non-pet, non-smoking household.
